| Drama Team |
Mission Statement:
To use drama as another avenue by which to communicate the message of joy
in God's unconditional love and acceptance.
The Drama Team performs several times throughout the year. They look
for material that will enhance or clarify the teaching planned for a particular
service. The team always tries to include some humor, but makes sure the
message is the focus.
Each production is unique. Many are written or edited especially for the
people who are in them, the particular service, or some current event in the
city or church. They are always looking for people who are interested in
the various facets of drama; performing, writing, or directing.
Some parts are just a few lines or even non-speaking. We always try to remember that
the ultimate purpose of our drama is to communicate our faith. We are performing for
our church family, so a mistake or blown line is no big deal because we're among friends.
If you would like to get involved, please contact Bonnie Davis at (319) 334-4475.
